Candle care
A few thoughtful habits for a safer everyday ritual.
General safety guidance. Always follow the instructions and safety label supplied with your particular candle. Product-specific burn times and wick-trimming measurements will be added after verification.
A little care, every time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep candles away from children, pets, draughts and anything that can catch fire.
- Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface with clear space above and around the flame.
- Keep the wax free of matches, wick debris and other material.
- Do not move a candle while lit or while the wax is hot.
- Extinguish safely and allow the vessel to cool before touching it.
- Follow the label for wick care, maximum burning duration and when to stop use.
Wooden wicks
Where your candle has a wooden wick, follow its specific trimming and lighting instructions. Wick construction varies; do not apply an unverified universal trimming measurement.
